The traditional format may be suitable for novice students learning medicine or for the HCP filling in a proforma but is rarely used by more experienced clinicians. “The Expert Clinician?” will help the health care professional (HCP) become a better clinician and the trainers who want to help them on their journey. “The Expert Clinician” is aimed at more senior medical students, more experienced trainees and allied HCP’s, including nurse specialists, and more senior clinicians who have realised that the traditional “clerking” is not fit for purpose.
